Welcome to another of my guide Melinda’s Friday messages about how to live life. Melinda and I work together to help people through the tarot readings I deliver. Melinda was a reader in her life. She has a great perspective drawn from both her last lifetime, being born in 1696, and her subsequent time as a spirit.
Lately, Andrew has been really busy with things – art shows, classes, co-running a conference, and day-to-day living with two small kids. This is why we did not put a post up last week. As I have said before it is okay to take a break. Sometimes it is crucial. For me on the other side of the veil time is not really a relevant matter. It is not quite that I am always outside of time as you know it but when I am not interacting with the world time has no real meaning to me. It has been hundreds of years since I lived but all that time seems like nothing. It is not unlike when I died and my 80 odd years felt like such a short amount of time. So please take time with a grain of salt.
Are you too busy?
Many times in my life. and in the lives of those I read, things were just too busy to connect to either spirit or other people. Having a busy schedule is not the same thing as being busy. One can accomplish a lot of things but if they start to prevent you from connecting to the people around you then you are too busy. Life is full of opportunities to connect even more so than when I was alive. You can go find people online 24 hours a day. However how much of that leads to what you actually need? How much does it fill your mind and time with noise? How much does it feed your heart and soul?
Today I want to leave you with a question “Are you able to stop and connect with your spirit?”
Thank you for taking time to listen. I invite you to take this as an invitation to connect as well. Please send me your answers in the comments or by email.
