Welcome to another of my guide Melinda’s Friday messages about how to live life. Melinda and I work together to help people through the tarot readings I deliver. Melinda was a reader in her life. She has a great perspective drawn from both her last lifetime, being born in 1696, and her subsequent time as a spirit.
I think that compassion is one of the most useful things a person can feel. We talked about the value to the person experiencing it in a previous post.
Today I want to start to speak about receiving compassion. Receiving compassion requires us to be witnessed and being seen is something many people work hard to avoid.
I want to talk about how to be more open and how to hold that compassionate space for others, even if they are resistant, sometime soon. Today I want to just say something to the heart of everyone who is reading this.
You are human to your core.
This makes you worthy of love and compassion.
This makes you capable of love and compassion.
Turn your eye to yourself when you feel judgement.
Put aside your criticism of others when you speak.
Compassion does not arise out of the truth you wish to share
but from the space you open that allows
the truth to emerge from another person.
Thank you for reading.
Melinda
