Who is Cass?

Cass (they/it) is responsible for many of our social media posts, and was the lead of design in our more recent pride candles. As a lifelong artist it has always viewed the world through art. A piece of Cass’s heart stays with each animal friend they make, and it recently adopted a cat who inspired this project. As Andrew’s kid Cass was raised with magic as a part of life, and with time they are developing their natural abilities into actionable skills. Cass’s magic often involves utilizing focus and subconscious mental processes to draw out a desired effect.

You ever look at your pet and wonder how they can be so cute? So have we! The concept behind these portraits is to use the process of making art as a spell to convey the boundless joy that pets give us back to them, while providing you with a digital art piece that you can display or keep with you. 

The trade offer

You give us: 

30$ for a headshot OR 50$ for a full body

3 photos of your pet, at least one must be of good quality

Any reasonable details you want included or excluded (simple background, favorite toy, etc)

We give you:

Loving and uplifting energy directed through the art process towards your pet

How to get your portrait.

We are using our booking system to manage the work flow so we don’t over book and get way behind. Once booked send the photos to andrew@thehermitslamp.com and we’ll go from there.
