The qabala is such an important topic to many modern tarot decks. The Rider-Waite, Thoth, and many of their derivatives are structured on a blending of western traditions that include the qabala. When I talk about this with most student of the tarot they admit to being daunted by the depth of material that comprises the qabala. The fact is that it is not required to learn to speak hebrew, become jewish or study the torah for 100 years to benefit from studying the qabala.

This four week class covers all the essential aspects of the qabala necessary to deepening your skills as a reader. We will cover the relationship of the cards to the tree of life, the use of qabalistic numerology and gematria and how to translate these ideas from the abstract to the practical. You will gain a much deeper understanding of the cards themselves through seeing their relationship to the qabalas deep archetypal symbols and world views.

This class will taught in a fun and down to earth method. Lot’s of notes and hand-outs will help you integrate what you are learning. I promise we won’t get lost in jargon and fancy terminology.
