SUMMARY:Tarot Lovers Gathering With Andrew McGregor - Toronto
DESCRIPTION:Connect\, Practice\, and Learn Together\nLearning tarot is best with community. By reading and watching others read your skill will grow quickly. Whether you’re just starting your first deck or have years of experience\, this evening is for ALL levels. Just bring yourself and your cards\, and be ready to have fun. \nWhat is it going to look like in practice? \nAndrew (any pronouns) will be your host for the evening. He has been working with Tarot since 1986 and has been a full time reader since 2000. He has written three books and published five decks. Traveling all around the world to teach\, he has also run his Toronto store\, The Hermit’s Lamp\, since 2008. With years of experience\, he has a deep love of teaching and sharing tarot with others. \nAs a group\, participants will discuss what they hope to learn from the evening based on their goals. Andrew will help guide readings\, build tarot spreads\, and teach new techniques. They’ll be around to drop in and answer questions\, share stories\, and support your tarot journey. \nThis is a community event. We ask that you please show up with an open heart\, a willingness to share (whatever your level)\, and a deep respect for other people’s journeys. \nThursday October 10th\, 2026 – 11AM – 1:30PM \nCost is $17 plus HST\nClick here to register. \nThis is a monthly event. \nRegister here. \nAbout the event space.\nThe Hermit’s Lamp Studio is located at 276 Carlaw Avenue\, unit 209B. Take the elevator or stairs to the 2nd floor. Follow signs to 276 209B. (light blue signage). The space is accessible but the unit and bathrooms do not have electric openers. \nWhat if I am a total beginner? \nWe all started in a similar place: With a fresh deck and a book to help us interpret our readings. The wonderful thing about the tarot community is they love to share. After all\, the more readers\, the more fun. So be assured you will be welcome! \nWhat should I bring?\nBring your cards\, a notebook\, and whatever you might like to share. \nLooking specifically for the Queer Tarot Gathering check the events page for that specific listing.
